Why OU? A Look at the University of Oklahoma's Meteorology Program

So, why OU?

The University of Oklahoma (OU) has long appealed to me as the place to be. The meteorology program is renowned for its excellence, and who could resist the allure of being in the heart of Tornado Alley? This combination of top notch academics with a hard to resist location made my decision to attend OU an easy one.

While the program is certainly a draw, the location is what really sets OU apart for meteorologists. Being in the heart of Tornado Alley creates a unique opportunity for students to study severe weather up close. Back home in Michigan, I was fairly limited, as the state is not known for its severe weather, so OU was exactly what I was looking for.
